Duties and REsponsibilities
Acts as an advisor (outside sales rep) to corporate and self generated leads regarding residential and commercial solar projects;
Generates leads and pursues sales opportunities with residential and commercial clients;
Performs introduction and follow up meetings using Sunly’s standardized proposals to facilitate the selling of residential and commercial solar;
Completes the agreement signing process converting leads into clients including the walk through and signing of all documents, and the collection of any supporting documentation;
Maintains a satisfactory closing rate based on company standards;
Ensures adherence to Sunly designed contact and communication strategies;
Executes all administrative functions relating to lead and client management;
Performs “thank you” meetings after the installation with the intention of ensuring the clients familiarity with their new installation, high-quality customer service and generating referrals; and
Attends outreach community events with the intention of building awareness and educating communities on solar opportunities.
minimum requirements
Post-Secondary education or related industry experience;
Valid driver's license with access to a reliable and insured vehicle;
Acceptable driver’s abstract;
Proficient with technology and software, familiarity with CRM’s an asset;
Previous experience in the renewable or sustainability industry will be considered an asset;
Open minded with a positive attitude and genuine passion for sustainability and innovation;
Personable and professional with strong written and verbal English communication skills;
Fluently bilingual or multilingual is an asset;
Excellent organizational and time management skills with minimal supervision;
Team player able to work collaboratively with all departments;
Ability to learn and understand new material and technical concepts easily; and
Criminal record check is required.
